Crate Escape Pet Care is local, woman-owned small business serving the Richmond and surrounding areas.  Kate McGregor founded Crate Escape in 2015.  A graduate of Radford University, Kate went on to work as a veterinary assistant for several years before a stint as a paralegal.  Following her love for the care of animals, Kate established her pet care business with the intention of providing the best professional in-home pet care available.  The professional staff of Crate Escape Pet Care continue to uphold the high standards set by Kate.

In 2022, Kate expanded her pet care business with the purchase of Petite Pet Inn, now Crate Escape Pet Resort and Spa, in Henrico, Virginia.

Kate lives in Hanover County with her 7 Dalmatians and 2 cats.
